What is the best Digital Camer under $600?any info is appreiciated…best brands?specific cameras?personal experiences?etc. etc. etc.p.s. preferable not SLR as i like to take my camera everywhere with me so it needs to fit nicely in my handbag 
plan to mainly use it for (in order of most usage);-nights out-pet and people shots-beach photos-scenery
